Trophies of life
Trophies are measurable, external rewards that prove to others the underlying blood, sweat, and tears that achieving this required. In sports, people train till their last breath to one day accomplish something huge and receive a trophy for it.
However, how many times in our lives have we neglected the people who shed blood and sweat for us to become who we are today?
When Jung reached 40, a time where most people reflect on their accomplishments or regrets, he had a Kingdom moment. The Christmanship perspective reminded him of ten people who mentored him to become who he is today. That's when he began his trophy project.
The project included ordering ten trophies for ten valuable people in Jung's life and gifting them with one each. A symbolic 'thank you' for everything they have done and for being who they were in Jung's life. Through this opportunity we shift the main focus on Jesus, giving thanks and giving all the glory to Him. He is our ultimate Saviour and Lord who shed His blood, tears, and sweat for who we are today.
Christmanship - 'Trophies of Life' wants to encourage everyone to share stories of whom they want to show gratitude to. Be creative in whatever God leads you to this spontaneous expression of love and gratefulness to the people around you. Glorify Jesus, share and reflect His powerful gospel and His Kingdom in their lives!
