Power of power

True Power!

Yes, power with responsibility;

Power to admit mistakes.

Power to say,

“We are sorry.”

Power of hope to the voiceless,

It’s mind-blowing!

Especially when expressed from people of power:

Presidents, leaders, parents, teachers, priests-

Even the captain of a children’s football team.

Where is that kind of power today?

Is it impossible to have power and honesty?

Nobody is perfect but power ignores that,

Abusing power but avoiding consequences,

Only the powerless are always saying sorry.

Above all power,

Jesus took the blame for all of humanity’s sins.

He took it because He wants to restore relationships with us.

Power of power comes from Jesus.

Power of mercy, power of love, a taste of heavenly power on Earth.
