God’s purpose is greater than Pain

Updated: Aug 21, 2021

I enjoy going hiking up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the mountain top view. But climbing to the top of the mountain has always been painful and exhausting. My goal is to reach the top, even though it’s painful for a while, but I push myself to move forward & upward towards my goal. Because my focus of this journey is all about getting there to enjoy the great mountain view than the pain I experience along the way. I would not let my pain distract me from pursuing my goal and purpose.

My hiking experience teaches me a spiritual principle: "Our purpose is greater than our present pain & suffering”.

All of us face different challenges & difficulties in our daily life. God has a plan & purpose for our lives that is much greater than the present troubles. Nothing can compare to the Glory & Honour that we will finally gain through Christ. Our temporary troubles should not weaken our faith in God. Let us not focus on our current troubles & pain. Instead, let us focus on God’s plan & purpose for our lives. Every step we take is bringing us closer to the ultimate prize that God has for us.

2 Corinthians 4:17 “And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory, much greater than the trouble”
